The first volume in a series of books written by veterans or the survivors of veterans about the events and experiences of war, from the Civil War to the present conflicts in Iraq amd Afghanistan. This first volume is set in Southeast Asia and contains two fictionalized stories of the conflict in Vietnam. One story entitled: A Sixth Sense is the account of Luke McClintock, a soldier in Vietnam, whose "special powers" saved many soldier's lives in actual combat locations in Vietnam. The second story, Allies in the Jungle, is about a North Vietnamese informant, Shang Lee, who aids the Americans throughout the conflict and then is able to relocate to the U.S. after the war. Proceeds from the sale of the book fund a college scholarship for college bound children of veterans.
